Awesome, I like to dabble in ghetto graphics, ghetto audio and the such, so here's some of my crappy demo codes that I've written. Very retro-esque! I will take some screenshot at some point, because I'm not sure everyone can get things to compile all the time.
- Demo-1 - A basic object oriented Wireframe 3-d sprite engine and vector field visualization effects using 2nd order Runge-Kutta ODE approximation techniques. Requires libSDL.
- APF - A text mode console MPEG/Video player that uses an RGB to ANSI color mapping method with error diffusion dithering, least squares matching and correlation coefficient minimization for really good color representation. Requires FFMPEG.
- APF Movie - Here's a pre-generated movie made from APF. All you do (this one is made nice for xterm) is gzip -dc elite.txt.gz in a maximized xterm (not mac term) or a real console mode with an 8x8 or 8x9 screen font and you will be happy and it will be funny.
- Doomer - A console text-mode implementation of a 3-d cellular automata animation and an old-school text window scroller. All you need is pthreads and a decent console terminal.
- Phase Space Reconstruction - A 3-D java applet built in proce55ing that performs Phase Space Reconstruction as michael zalewski applies it for TCP/IP sequence number visual analysis
- QWave - A program that embeds particle fields into cellular automata lattices and handles particle movement along paths not tangent to the lattice edges by using quantum bits.
- Pools - A program that uses 3x3 convolution filters, dampening channel blending and point-oscillators that simulates a ripple tank.
- ircII Trojan Patch - Modified source files for ircII to be able to capture people's private messages
- AESP - Ambient Empire's Signal Processor. A signal processor building toolkit.
- JPEGTOCHAT - JPEG to Chat. JPEG image to multi-client chat output. Supports nearly every chat client output, different font densities, terminal types, etc. Also has built-in resizing and diffusion methods. This ruins png2mirc bigtime. This is JPEG to mIRC, JPEG to silc, JPEG to irssi, JPEG to ANSI. Also, here's timecop's win32 exe port. here's a page with some more info and example output.
- AudioIDS - A network traffic music generator built with AESP, currently only with linux support, please check the source for compile options.
